The proximity you crave with the privacy you need to get meaningful work done.
The future of work is changing.
We provide first-class, parent-focused coworking with flexible, nature-based early learning and care to help our members excel at their life’s work (no matter what “work” looks like!) alongside their little ones (“proximity with privacy”) in a restorative campus setting.
Coworking that cares for the whole family, Mother Nature included.
BTW… Cokarē is pronounced (co-car-ee) but if you land on “co-care” we won’t be mad!
Care infrastructure for the future we want.
Return to work on your terms
Expecting a new little or recently welcomed one? Cokarē membership lets you remain close for all the “firsts” while working from a child-friendly space with support you can count on nearby. Introduce us to your HR department!
Build your confidence
Cokarē custom care schedules and private work spaces let you find the balance you need alongside your growing family. Knockout emails in the morning, join your little for lunch, take a meeting at the office, return for a fun class together before heading home for dinner together (skipping the pickup line!).
Expand your potential
Small business owner, entrepreneur or hybrid employee? Work early mornings and every other Friday afternoon? Usually a couple hours each day but need all day care for events? We have the space and support to help you design the life you’ve always dreamed about.
Live The Change
Our model prioritizes restorative infrastructure for parents, children and the environment alike. Our campus was built with sustainability in mind from the beginning and a deep care for learning with and within Mother Nature.
Membership and More
Cokarē offers flexible, nature-based care for children birth to 6 years old
"Care is not subordinate to education, care is education. When we unite care and education, we care in a way that nurtures another's independence, actualization, and self-sufficiency."
Carol Garboden Murray
Vision
Our vision is a world that recognizes and supports parents’ value as both breadwinners and caregivers; a world in which an hour holding your child’s hand is equal in importance to an hour “at work”, and a world in which we treasure our educators along with our earth through restorative models of care.
FAQs
-
Yes! Our goal is to become a fully-licensed childcare center. Classroom based care (for both drop-in and “regular” care) will be licensed. This means that you may come and go from the grounds as long as you pick your child up by the agreed upon time for the day. Other care options such as infant-in-arms attendants, cafe play attendants and event care will require that you remain on site at all times and level of supervision available may vary.

Time outside is so valuable for all children, beginning at birth. The World Health Organization recommends all children 1-5 years of age spend at least 3 hours each day engaged in physical play - and that’s most likely to happen outdoors! We will aim to spend as much time outside playing (learning!) as we can all year long. Infants and toddlers will spend 50-75% of a full day outdoors with our 4-6 year olds spending 75-100% of the day outside. In dangerous weather, all children will be brought indoors.

Cokarē was built for families wanting to work in closer proximity to their young children. We offer a basic membership to anyone in the surrounding community, including expecting parents. To purchase packages of drop-in care hours or a regular care membership we require that you also choose a co-working membership.
